03!
Time to update!
First of all, happy (late) birthday to Nam!
Now, there is a global pandemic (again). First it was SARS, then it was bird flu, then it was dengue. Now it's swine (pig) flu. If you ask me it's the start of the apocalypse. Anyway, there is absolutely no cause for alarm. "The wings are not on fire." (Monty Python reference)
BTW, don't forget the OBS form or your forged signature next Monday (4/5). And be prepared to pay through the nose.
Speaking of money:
A man will pay $2 for a $1 item he needs.
A woman will pay $1 for a $2 item that she doesn't need.
End of post! And please try to comment more!

Hey, 03, there's an announcement on the KM:
"Dear NJC,
Let's nominate a deserving English Teacher who:
• ignites a love for the English language in his / her students
• uses innovative methods to engage students and help them speak and write better
• is passionate about making English interesting and relevant to students
Students, parents and teachers can nominate!
Submit your completed nomination forms to the box in the NJC General Office.
Nominations Close (in NJC): Thurs 16 April 2009"
I propose that we nominate Ms Wong for this, okay? I feel that she's a really good teacher and has really tried hard to teach us (and put up with our antics). The least she deserves is this. 'k?
The LA rep.

Something Zen and I did during physics. I was worried it would catch fire, but no; it just disintegrated, leaving two nice, needle-sharp spears, which we used as welding torches. If I can get my hands on the same equipment, and some gloves, I'll try this again.
